| 3/30/2011 | Freezer Van Delivery Now Available | | Interstate Cold Storage has expanded its delivery capability by adding two Glacier King -20 freezer vans to its fleet. These freezer vans are built on a Sprinter Van chassis, which offers an excellent solution to hot shot runs or special orders. "Scott Parker said, insulated freezer vans allow us to keep our larger semi-trucks on the road, while supporting additional customer needs in a more cost effective manner. Being able to pull-up curb side for a delivery opens up a whole new level of service for us and at more than 18mpg, we just can't go wrong."
The Glacier King -20 offers temperatures down to -20 degrees and is available for emergency deliveries until 5:00pm within a specific mile radios.

The Logix system will manage refrigeration energy demand and efficiency, maximizing facility operations. The overall energy efforts include VFD's on all motors, energy efficient lighting and upgrades on all refrigeration controls and systems. "We are working on several energy and facility upgrades resulting in the utmost product safety initiatives for our customers." Says Scott Parker, Interstate's Director of Operations.
