Our new state of the art freezing units enable Interstate Cold Storage to freeze your product in a very short time. The unique features of the unit ensure that temperatures are brought down through the entire load, with a uniform temperature drop that preserves product quality.

Are you members of any trade group?
For many years Interstate Cold Storage has maintained memberships in the leading industry trade associations. These associations include the IARW, WFLO,AFFI,and NFRA.

Do you use third party sanitation audits?
Interstate Cold Storage requires regular unannounced sanitation inspections by the American Sanitation Institute. The facilities are consistantly awarded with excellent sanitation ratings.

Does Interstate Cold Storage have EDI and Internet capability?
Our ability to communicate with real time information has allowed us to maintain the flow of data with many of the major firms in North America. Our new Provia software will enable Interstate Cold Storage to keep up with the growing demands of the industry.

Can you handle emergency situations with a short lead time?
With many years of service to our customers, we fully understand the need to take care of the last minute shipments. Whether it requires extra warehouse or transportation services, we do our best to "make it happen."

Can you build modular pallets?
During our long associations with many familiar customers we have performed many special requests. Building modular pallets for the grocery industry has been an ongoing service that our customers have come to rely on.

Can we accommodate the seasonal customers?
We start and stop many repeat customers that require considerable storage space and services for a short period of time.

Do you offer tempering services?
Whether product is tempered in our tempering rooms or by using our new tempering/freezing units, we can customize our process to give you the product you want when you want.

Do we slip sheet product?
Each facility has the special material handling equipment that is needed for the many different loading options available to our industry.

Do you have product recall ability?
Product recall procedures are in place. Mock recall drills are conducted on a regular basis. These may be initiated by our customers or by the Interstate Cold Storage management.

Do you offer USDA services?
All locations offer voluntary USDA services. Some of these services are import, export, grading, or inspection.

Do you offer special reports?
Our ability to customize our software enables Interstate Cold Storage to give you the information that you need to make decisions based on current and correct information.

Do you have rail transload facilities?
Every location has the ability to move the product from the rail car to the trailer in a timely and safe manner.

Do we get to talk to a person?
Our courteous and experienced customer representatives will be there to work as a team with your staff.
